Dr. Okerie is a dedicated and highly trained physician with extensive experience in Family and Internal Medicine. He earned his primary medical degree from the University of Calabar in 2013, after which he gained valuable clinical experience practicing in Nigeria. He later relocated to the United Kingdom, where he completed his Family Medicine residency in 2024. During his time in the UK, Dr. Okerie further advanced his expertise in Internal Medicine, practicing at the level of Senior Registrar and managing a broad spectrum of complex medical conditions.
In 2022, he was awarded the prestigious Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP), a distinction that underscores his strong foundation in Internal Medicine and clinical excellence. Dr. Okerie currently holds the Certification in the College of Family Physicians (CCFP) and is independently licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). He also serves as an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University, where he contributes to medical education and the training of future physicians.
He is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care, drawing on his international training, academic involvement, and diverse clinical experience to provide high-quality medical services.
